Il m’aura fallu quelques secondes pour tomber amoureux de la chanson « My shit’s fucked up » de Warren Zevon.
Revenons sur le lieu de la découverte : fin de l’épisode 1 de Californication Saison 2. Hank se fait arrêter par un flic, et la chanson prend le pas sur le final de l’épisode. La voix de Warren résonne un peu comme celle de Johnny Cash, une bonne vieille guitare catchy, une voix qui vous transporte et le rock sudiste reprend le dessus.
Le plus triste encore une fois, c’est que je découvre un artiste magnifique décédé depuis 2003…
